Writers' Community

Writing an article may seem like a daunting task, especially for those who do not consider themselves "writers" or who do not write on a regular basis. Our commitment to helping our authors achieve success has led to the development and launch of the AORN Journal Writers' Community on OR Nurse Link. This community is an informal gathering place for previous, present, and potential authors where members can share experiences, advice, and more about writing and publishing. Writers' Community members also have access to a variety of resources including the AORN Journal Author Guidelines, tips for writers, and instructions for submitting a manuscript using our online submission tool. It’s also a place to connect with AORN Journal editors.

To join the AORN Writers’ Community, visit http://www.ornurselink.org and either sign in or register. AORN members may use their e-mail address that AORN has on file as their username and their AORN password (ie, member identification number if not changed by member to a new password). Non-members will need to register and select a username and password. After you have logged in, simply search for AORN Writers’ Community under the groups tab and request to join. It’s that simple!
