A variety of prepping agents are available as tincture products (ie, alcohol containing substances), and thus are considered to be flammable.¹ The examples provided in the parentheses indicate some of the solutions that are available in the form of a tincture. In the event that the product is not a tincture, then the specific manufacturer and material safety data sheet should be consulted regarding flammability.
